GENERAL TRYOUT INFORMATION AND FORMS
All players must pre-register before tryouts (email or mail the form). Knowing
how many players are expected will make tryouts more efficient and
provide a better evaluation process. Walk-ups will be accepted, but get
there early to complete and turn in the necessary forms (20-30 minutes).
Please complete and turn-in all forms at the check-in desk
before tryouts start. Gym will open at 5pm and forms will be accepted
up to 5:30pm start time. There will be a line; please arrive early. You will need to complete the following and bring to tryouts:
1. Complete the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) Online Membership form
- Go to http://aausports.org/JoinNow.aspx
- Click on “2011 Athletic
Membership”
- Fill in all the information
and pay the fee ($12 - $14)
- Be sure to enter the club name
“Oregon Volleyball Academy” and the Club Code is “TF4D66”
- Pay with a credit card and
print your receipt.
2. Complete the OVA Tryout Registration Form

- Print out the form, complete all information and bring a copy with you (even if you have mailed or emailed a version already)
3. Parent or Guardian is required to be at tryouts to check-in the player; they may leave once tryouts have started.
4. Fees - There will be no other tryout
fee; you will only need to pay AAU online and bring the receipt and
paperwork.
5. Bring Paperwork and Receipt of Payment
- Proof of completed AAU online registration and receipt of payment AND
- Completed OVA Tryout Registration form.
OTHER
- We will have a parent/player signing on Dec. 8th, to
get all forms completed, complete jersey sizing, and collect deposits.
- Bring the receipt and printout
to your tryouts
- We might have a computer or
two available at tryouts but this will delay the amount of time you have
available on the court, so please register/pay ahead of time.
