Team "Koa" Roster - Koa means Warrior, fearless, & strong in Hawaiian
To honor JJ and Emily Riley, the original founders of the Oregon Volley Academy, all of our travel teams have Hawaiian nicknames. We want to keep their "Aloha" spirit alive at OVA and we are very appreciative of their past efforts. JJ was originally from Hawaii where he was an All-American setter before leaving to play at Pepperdine.
